Day 01 : Srinagar (Arrival by Air)
Reception upon arrival and transfer to Deluxe houseboat/hotel. Afternoon Shikara ride on the Dal Lake, visiting floating/vegetable gardens. Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe houseboat/hotel.
Day 02 : Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonamarg by car. The distance of about 87 kms. will be covered in about 3.5 hrs. time Sonamarg lies in Sindh valley strewn with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to high altitude Himalayan lakes. Drive back from Sonamarg and transfer to Deluxe houseboat/hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Srinagar
Morning sight- seeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf khan, brother- in- law of Jehangir in 1632 A.D. and Shalimar Bagh built by for his wife empress Nurjahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. En route the gardens, visit a carpet weaving factory. Lunch at houseboat/hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe houseboat/hotel.
Day 04 : Srinagar - Gulmarg
Full day trip to Gulmarg ( the meadow of flowers ) 2730 mts. above sea level. The distance of 56 kms. will be covered in about 2.5 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world, and one of the highest golf courses in the world with 18 holes. You can also enjoy a view of Nanga Parbat if the weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating.A short trek up to Khilanmarg , which can be covered in about 3 hrs is optional. The Gondola Lift mountain rides is also available. Stay overnight in Gulmarg.
Day 05 : Gulmarg - Srinagar - Pahalgam
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam via Stringer. The distance of about 152 kms. Will be covered in about 5 hrs. En route, visiting the saffron fields and Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of lord Vishnu built by the king Awantivarman), enjoy the beautiful countryside on the way. Drive through the pine forest. Arrive at Pahalgam (the valley of shepherds) and transfer to hotel. After lunch, walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel Pahalgam.
Day 06 : Pahalgam - Srinagar
After breakfast drive to Srinagar.On arrival transfer to Deluxe houseboat/hotel. Afternoon free for shopping etc. Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe houseboat/hotel.
Day 07 : Departure by Air
After breakfast, transfer to airport for the return flight.
